About
Hi, I'm Heather.

About me
I’m someone who values thoughtfulness, honesty, and emotional nuance. I tend to listen for what’s underneath what’s being said such as the patterns, tensions, and meanings that shape how people move through their lives. I approach therapy with curiosity and respect, believing that most people make sense once their context is understood.
In my work, I aim to be steady, engaged, and genuine. My role is not to interpret your life for you, but to help you understand it more fully, in a way that feels grounded and human.
What it's like to work together
Therapy with me is collaborative, thoughtful, and authentic. Sessions tend to unfold as a conversation, one that makes room for complexity, uncertainty, and emotional depth without rushing toward conclusions. We pay attention to patterns, relationships, and internal dynamics, working to understand how they developed and how they show up now.
Clients often notice that our work feels both spacious and focused. I’m interested in helping you think more clearly about your inner world while also staying connected to lived experience. Rather than offering quick answers, I support a process of insight and change that feels sustainable, integrated, and aligned with your values.
Clients I often support
I am a licensed professional counselor in the states of Colorado and Louisiana. My background includes work with individuals where I’ve supported people navigating stress, transitions, relationships, and long-standing emotional patterns. I value ongoing learning and consultation, and I integrate clinical training with careful attention to each client’s unique history, context, and strengths.
I tend to work best with:
Women who feel responsible for everyone and struggle to rest
High-achieving professionals who appear capable but feel anxious or overextended internally
Clients who want to understand inherited “mother patterns,” perfectionism, or chronic self-pressure
Retreats
Alongside one-on-one therapy, I also host small, in-person retreats throughout the year.
These weekends are designed to offer intentional space away from everyday responsibilities. They’re simple, restorative, and focused on rest, reflection, and reconnecting with yourself in a supportive environment.
